Ryan Taylor breaks Club goal scoring record

22 October 2017

Ryan Taylor has become the club's all-time record goal scorer after netting a brace of goals on Saturday against Fleetdown United.

Taylor is also the club's longest serving player having made his debut aged just 16 in season 2013-14 the club's inaugural season in the Kent County League.

Since then the young striker now aged 20 has scored 28 goals in 58 starts. he has also made 27 appearances as a substitute.

The goal scoring record was previously held by Reece Mortimer and Mark Childs who had scored 26.

After the match at Fleetdown United the young striker was pleased:

"it's something I've had one eye on for a while. if I'm honest with myself i probably should have broken it last season but it's nice to do it with a brace and in an important cup win."
